HR/Administrative Services

The HR/Administrative services support about 120 management and staff members who provide services to the patients or to the hospital in the following areas:

  • Management / Administration
  • Clinical/Health services
  • General Support/Ancillary Staff

The hospital’s administration endeavours to provide a high standard of service through an effective organization of the staff, supervisors and managers. This is done through provision of expert HR advice, supporting tools, enabling environment required for supervisors and managers to manage their teams effectively.

The department also develops and regularly updates an employee handbook that disseminates the hospital’s human resource policies and procedures that cover all aspects of employees’ working life within the hospital. Also, advisory and support services are provided to unit heads/line managers/supervisors and staff regarding policies, procedures as well as terms and conditions of employment.

Other services provided include:

  • Support and advice to management on employee matters.
  • Advice to the management on leave arrangements including sick leave, maternity leave, annual leave, etc.
  • Administration of Contract renewals including Suppliers of products or services, Equipment maintenance firms, Health Maintenance Organizations, Retainership agreements, etc.
  • Management of the Recruitment and selection Processes.
  • Training and development
  • Performance Appraisal Management
  • Rewards Management

Finally, the HR Department also has a Benefits Section which provides support to all staff of Molly Specialist Hospital. The benefits include health scheme, pension scheme, subsidy scheme, etc.
