Who do I speak with regarding results of my lab test performed by Molly Specialist Hospital Laboratory?

All questions regarding your laboratory test results should be directed to your physician, who can interpret them in line with your medical history and examination.

How long does it take to receive my test results?

Results may be ready in as little as 24 hours or much less depending on the test ordered. Certain tests results however, may take several days. All results are sent to the ordering physician for interpretation and diagnosis.

Can I receive a copy of my test results?

Patients may receive a copy of their results only with a written authorization. Please call 08077122644 for further enquiries

Can I request my own lab tests?

No, laboratory tests must be ordered by a physician. But if you would like a certain test performed on your order, please discuss with your physician who will decide if the test you want is appropriate.

Do I need to make an appointment to have my test done?

No. All Molly Specialist Hospital laboratory units are walk-in centers. However, there are tests which may not be done immediately. For example, tests that require fasting. You may be given an appointment for the next day.

Do I need to fast before having my blood drawn?

Some blood tests require you to fast prior to being drawn. This will be discussed with you prior to conducting the test. If you have a question about fasting prior to having blood work, please contact your physician.
