The Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O & G) unit of Molly Specialist Hospital provides comprehensive and investigative treatment and emergency services for a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
The unit is located within the main hospital complex. We use a model of care that is patient-centred and patient-friendly and for a much more effective medical care; our consultant gynaecologists and obstetricians are always in close collaboration with specialists from other medical fields. We run a referral centre for secondary and tertiary care of complex gynaecological conditions and high risk obstetrics cases.
With our multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians and specialist nurses, we ensure all our patients' needs are addressed by providing them with the support they need during their period of illness and recovery.
The unit facilitates prompt access for patients with first trimester complications and aims to centralise and streamline assessment, diagnosis, management & counseling of patients with conditions such as miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies.
Ultrasound service is integral to O & G and our team of experienced sonographers provide a comprehensive service and perform more than 6,000 scans per year. The team has expanded their service of performing 'routine' gynaecological scans to performing specialised scan for the O & G Unit.
We provide reproductive services to both male and female with fertility problems. Our team of specialists, generalists nurses and sonographers work together to offer state-of-the-art medicine in patients' fertility. Individualised treatment is tailored according to the couple's medical conditions and needs. Counselling services are also available as part of the holistic approach to patient care.
